Planning

Relocating vehicles can be challenging if you’re not properly prepared ahead of time. If there’s even a slight chance that you’ll want to include vehicles in your move, be sure to tell your Monti Moving representative at the time of the estimate. These large items should not be left as last-minute additions as they require special planning and handling.

Pre-Move Preparation

To prepare your vehicle for the move, be sure to:
  • Remove valuable items.
  • Remove the title from the glove compartment.
  • Empty the car, except for your spare tire, jack, and jack wrench.
  • Leave the car with no more than half a tank of gas.

Recreational Vehicle Transport

Recreational vehicles are very popular items that you should consider when planning a move. If you own any recreational vehicles, let your mover know in advance. They’ll want to be prepared to handle them. Additionally, be sure that all gasoline is drained before loading. Count on us to relocate:
  • Motorcycles
  • Mini-Bikes
  • Mopeds
  • Scramblers
  • Dune Buggies
  • All-Terrain Vehicles
  • Jet Skis
  • Snowmobiles
  • And More

Gas-Fueled Tool Transport

Monti Moving has the capacity to relocate your gas-fueled tools. Before moving day, drain your tools of gasoline and other combustible fuels, secure and wrap any blades, engage the safety locks, and complete a detailed evaluation. This evaluation is to determine any damage the vehicle already has, i.e., scratches, dents, etc. Your carrier will also complete a descriptive vehicle inventory noting any pre-existing damage. Examples of the tools we can transport include:

  • Tractors
  • Lawnmowers
  • Gas Grills
  • Gas Trimmers
  • Snow Throwers
  • Gas or Kerosene Heaters
